How Do You Validate an Idea Without Giving It Away?

I’m working on an MVP for an idea and I’d love some feedback. My current plan is to share it on social media, see how people react, and then decide what to build into the full version.

That said, I’m a bit cautious about putting it out in the open too early. Has anyone here tried different ways of validating an idea that don’t carry the same risk of someone running off with it?

Would love to hear how you’ve approached this balance between feedback and protecting your work.

    In my experience the idea is only in your head, and there will never be someone who gets it the way you do! so even you share it don't assume someone understand it and visualize it the same way you do and if you keep on working on it you will become the owner of it.
